That Fuzz !!! it looks great, and I love how it's a motif in this and is on various parts of her fashion
the color palette is quite nice. though red/white/ and black are used together fairly frequently, I do find that it is very suiting for this fashion, and I just couldn't see many other color palettes fitting this outfit better. nice choice
the shading, especially on the fur, is a great touch, and it adds depth to the design
improvements
while I like the highlights in the hair, I find the hair to be a bit too angular. and those highlights on the 2 bangs of her hair above her eyes either need to stand out more or be the same color as the rest of the hair, as it isn't very noticable until you stare at the hair for a while
the shading isn't all in the right places. consider where the source of light is coming from when shading. if it's coming from the left, then the shadows should gather around spots on the right, and vice versa.
I saw application and experimentation of several different techniques in this design, and I found that very nice. cool work XD
This was for the cover of my Photograpy and Graphics page for school .
Yeah, I took less effort on the highlights on the hair. This it suppose to be me and because my hair is really curly I tried to make it look good without too much lineart, making the outsides bumpy. I've just started to shade my work so I really don't conside light direction... just only how far thing are away from the body, like the layers of fur etc. All this digital colouring is done on Paint (lol), I would do it on photoshop but I've just started to learn how to use the program and I can't find the fill button!!
the fill button? you mean the paint bucket button? well, in photoshop, you can make all the colors different layers so you can color and shade them separately without interfering with the other colors. I'd say thinkering around with photoshop is your best bet for rapid improvement
But I need a new ID anyway...
